審議経過

朕は、昭和二十年勅令第五百四十二号ポツダム宣言の受諾に伴い発する命令に関する件に基き昭和二十二年勅令第四号（町內会部落会又はその連合会の長の選挙に関する勅令）の廃止に関する勅令を裁可し、ここにこれを公布せしめる。
I hereby give My sanction to the Imperial Ordinance concerning the abrogation of the Imperial Ordinance No. 4 of 1947 (Imperial Ordinance concerning the Election of the Chief of a Chônaikai or Burakukai (Town or Village Neighbors Association) or its Federation), under the Imperial Ordinance No. 542 of 1945, in pursuant of the Orders to be issued in consequence of the acceptance of the Potsdam Declaration and cause the same to be promulgated.

Imperial Ordinance No. 67
昭和二十二年勅令第四号は、これを廃止する。
Imperial Ordinance No. 4 of 1947 shall hereby be abolished.
附　則
Supplementary Provision:
この勅令は、公布の日から、これを施行する。
The present Ordinance shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation.
