I hereby give My sanction, with the advice of the Privy Council, to the Imperial Ordinance concerning the partial amendment to the Higher School Ordinance and cause the same to be promulgated.

The following amendment is made to the Higher School Ordinance:
In Art. 1 "for men" is deleted.
Supplementary Provision:
The present Ordinance shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation.
