I hereby give My sanction to the Law concerning the Contingent Funds of the Diet, for which the concurrence of the Imperial Diet has been obtained, and cause the same to be promulgated.

Law No.82
Article 1.　The contingent funds of each House shall be placed under supervision of the President of the respective House.
Article 2.　For making any disbursement out of the contingent funds of each House, sanction of the Standing Committee for House Management of the House shall be obtained beforehand or, according to circumstances, after the disbursement.
Article 3.　Disbursements made out of the contingent funds of each House shall be reported by the Chairman of the Standing Committee for House Mangagement of the House at the beginning of the following ordinary session so that an approval may be obtained.
Supplementary Provision:
The present Law shall come into force as from the day of enforcement of the Diet Law.
