Art.2. The petition shall be made by a written form by entering the name (the title in the case of a judicial person) and domicile (address, in the case of having not domicile) of the petitioner.
Art.3. The petition shall be filed to the governmental or public office which has the jurisdiction for petition matters. The petition for the Emperor shall be filed to the Cabinet.
請願の事項を所管する官公署が明らかでないときは、請願書は、これを内閣に提出することができる。
The petition may be filed to the Cabinet, if the competent governmental or public office for petition matter is indistinct.
Art.4. When the petition is filed, by mistake, to the other governmental or public office than that as provoded for by the preceding paragraph, the said office shall indicate the legal office to the petitioner, or transmit the said petition of the legal office.
第五條 この法律に適合する請願は、官公署において、これを受理し誠実に処理しなければならない。
Art.5. The petition in conformity with the present Law, shall be received and disposed of in sincerity by the governmental or public office.
第六條 何人も、請願をしたためにいかなる差別待遇も受けない。
Art.6. Any person shall not be treated otherwise for filing a petition.
附 則
Supplementary Provision:
この法律は、日本國憲法施行の日から、これを施行する。
The present Law shall come into force as from the day of enforcement of the Japanese Constitution.
