I hereby give My sanction to the Law concerning the amendment of the Income Tax Law, for which the concurrence of the Imperial Diet has been obtained, and cause the same to be promulgated.

Law No.12
The Income Tax Law shall be partly revised as follows:
In Art.16, par.1, "2400 yen" shall be revised as "6000 yen" .
In Art.24, par.1, "72 yen" shall be revised as "240 yen" .
Supplementary Provision:
The present Law shall come into force as from the date of its promulgation,
and shall be applied in respect of allowances paid on or after February 1, 1947.
