I hereby give My Sanction to the Ordinance for the Amendments of the Imperial Household Order No. 12 of the twenty-third year of Meiji and cause the same to be promulgated.

Imperial Household Ordinance No. 22
The following amendments are made to the Imperial Household Order No. 12:
The terms "officials attached to the Imperial Princes" shall be deleted.
Supplementary Provision:
The present Ordinance shall come into force from the date of its promulgation.
