I hereby give My Sanction to the Regulations governing the Organization of the Amendment Committee for the Mining Industry Law and others, and cause the same to be promulgated.

The Regulations governing the Organization of the Amendment Committee for the Mining Industry Law and Others
Article 1. The Amendment Committee for the Mining Industry Law and others shall be under the jurisdiction and control of the Minister of Commerce and Industry and shall investigate and deliberate upon the important matters pertaining to the amendment of the Mining Industry Law and others in response to the enquiries submitted by the said Minister.
Article 2. The Committee shall be composed of one Chairman and not more than twenty seven (27) Committee members.
Except the regular personnel mentioned above, the extraordinary Committee members may be appointed, if necessary.
Article 3. The chairmanship shall be filled with the Minister of Commerce and Industry.
The Committee member and the extraordinary Committee member shall be appointed by the Cabinet through the recommendation of the Minister of Commerce and Industry from among governmental officials of first or second class of the Ministries concerned and members of both Houses of the Diet and persons of learning and experience.
Article 4. The Chairman shall preside over the Committe affairs.
In case the chairman is unable to perform his duties, the Committee member nominated by the Minister of Commerce and Industry shall take charge of his affairs on his behalf.
Article 5. The Committee shall have a number of Secretaries, who shall be appointed by the Cabinet through the recommendation of the Minister of Commerce and Industry.
The Secretaries shall, by order of the chairman, supervise the general affairs.
Article 6. The Committee shall have a number of clerks, who shall be appointed by the Minister of Commerce and Industry.
The clerks shall, in obedience to the instruction of the senior officials, take charge of the general affairs.
Supplementary Provision:
The present Ordinance shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation.
