The Law No. 26 of the twenty-first year of Showa shall, with the exceptions of the provisions in respect of civic right (including the provisions in respect of unpaid office) and the provisions in respect of the elections of the members of the assembly of the Metropolis or of the members of the assembly of a ward, city, town or village (excepting the provisions of Art. 13 and 14 of the same Law), come into force as from the fifth day of the tenth month of the twenty-first year of Showa (October 5, 1946)
