I hereby give My Sanction to the Imperial Ordinance concerning the partial amendments to be made to the Regulations governing the organization, etc. of the Imperial University and cause the same to be promulgated.

Imperial Ordinance No. 372
Article 1. A part of the Regulations governing the organization of the Imperial University shall be amended as follows:
In the accompanying table No. 1, the following amendments shall be made as regards the Tohoku Imperial University. In the column giving the number of professors of Educational Officials of Education Ministry, "140" shall read "141" ; in the column of assistant professors of Educational Officials of Education Ministry, "120" shall read "121", and in the column of Educational Official of the 3rd Grade, "194" shall read "196."
Article 2. A part of the Ordinance concerning Chairs of the Tohoku Imperial University shall be amended as follows:
In the column concerning the Faculty of Medicine, next to "Head surgery-one chair" shall be added "Environment medicine-one chair".
Supplementary Provision:
The present Ordinance shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation.
