We hereby give our sanction to the Ordinance concerning the amendments of the Imperial Ordinance concerning Organization and Functions of the Local Government of Tokyo Metropolis and Others and cause the same to be promulgated.

Imperial Ordinance No. 239
Article 1. The following amendments are made to the Imperial Ordinance concerning Organizations and Functions of the Local Government of Tokyo Metropolis.
In Article 1-2, " not more than 322 (full-time)" shall read "not more than 323 (full-time) "
Article 2. The following amendments are made to the Imperial Ordinance concerning Organizations and Functions of the Local Government of Hokkaido.
In Article 1-2, "not more than 119 (full-time)" shall read "not more than 120 (full-time)"
Article 3. The following amendments are made to the Imperial Ordinance concerning Organizations and Functions of the Local Governments of Prefectures.
In Article 2, "not more than 4,084 (full-time)" shall read " not more than 4,128 (full-time)".
Article 4. The following amendments are made to the Imperial Ordinance for Temporary Establishment of Personnel Etc., in To-Cho-Fu-Ken (Tokyo Metropolis, Hokkaido and Prefectures).
In Article 1, "3 (full-time)" shall read "7 (full-time)" and "532 (full-time)" shall read " 550 (full-time)"
In Article 1-3, "29 (full-time)" shall read " 30 (full-time) ", " 105 (full-time) " shall read " 108 (full-time)" and " 1,898 (full-time) " shall read "1,917 (full-time)".
In Article 1-4, Item 1," 508 (full-time) " shall read "512 (full-time)" "111 (full-time)" shall read "154 (full-time)" and "5,015 (full-time)" shall read "5,012 (full-time)".
Supplementary Provision:
The present Ordinance shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation.
