SUBJECT | Relaxation of International Telecommunications Restrictions. |
1. Reference is made to Memorandum for the Japanese Government, file AG 311 (9 Sep 47) CCS, (SCAPIN 1771), dated 9 September 1947, subject same as above.
2. In addition to those already rescinded, the following memoranda are rescinded.
a. File AG 000.73 (20 Jun 46) GB/CIS/CCD, (SCAPIN 1030), dated 20 June 1946, subject: French Language, Authorization for use in International Civil Communications.
b. File AG 000.73 (26 Jul 46)GB/CIS/CCD, (SCAPIN 1087), dated 26 July 1946, subject: Chinese Language, Authorization for use in International Civil Communications.
3. Direct communications between the Civil Communications Section and other Staff Sections, General Headquarters, Supreme Commander for the Allied Powers and the Ministry of Communications, covering matters within the scope of this memorandum, are authorized.
