1. Memorandum for the Imperial Japanese Government, (SCAPIN 1185), file AG 311.2 (6 Sept 46)CCS, dated 6 September 46, subject: Telegraph Service for Approved Private Companies, is hereby rescinded.
2. This supplements Memorandum for the Imperial Japanese Government, (SCAPIN 969), file AG 311.2 (18 May 46)CCS, dated 18 May 46, subject: Sender Composition Message Service for Approved Private Companies. Direct correspondence between General Headquarters, Supreme Commander for the Allied Powers, and the Japanese Ministry of Communications within the technical matters covered by this memorandum is authorized.

SUBJECT : Information of General Applications Pertaining to Directive Number (SCAPIN 1351), file AG 311.2(21 Nov 46)CCS, dated 21 Nov 46. Subject: Telegraph Service for Approved Companies
1. With reference to the subject memorandum the following is being published for the information of all concerned.
2. The purpose of this directive is to discontinue commercial telegraph service for the Pacific Overseas Airlines which was originally authorized under Memorandum for the Imperial Japanese Government, (SCAPIN-1185), file AG 311.2 (6 Sept 46) CCS, dated 6 September 46, subject: Telegraph Service for Approved Private Companies. The Pacific Overseas Airlines has completed the activities in connection with which the original telegraph service was established.
3. No command channel instructions regarding the discontinuance of this service are required.
