MEMORANDUM FOR

IMPERIAL JAPANESE GOVERNMENT.

THROUGH

Central Liaison Office, Tokyo.

SUBJECT

Telegraph Service for Approved Private Companies.

1. It is directed that the Japanese Ministry of Communications arrange to handle private telegraph messages sent by or addressed to the Pacific Overseas Airlines as follows:
a. After censorship, messages addressed to PACAIR, Tokyo shall be delivered promptly by messenger to the Pacific Overseas Airlines at Miesner House, 5861 Kanoko Machi-oi, Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo.
b. Messages filed by the Pacific Overseas Airlines will be sent in clear English.
c. Messages may be sent from Tokyo to the Pacific Overseas Airlines, International Airport, Ontario, California.
2. This account shall be in the name of the Pacific Overseas Airlines, International Airport, Ontario, California.
3. This supplements (SCAPIN-969), AG 311.2 (18 May 46)CCS, subject: "Sender Composition Message Service for Approved Private Companies".

MEMORANDUM.
SUBJECT: Information of General Application Pertaining to Directive Number (SCAPIN - 1185), file AG 483 (6 Sep 46) CCS, this headquarters, subject: "Telegraph Service for Approved Private Companies".
1. With reference to the subject memorandum the following is being published for the information of all concerned.
2. The purpose of this directive is to provide for the filling of radio telegrams to the United States and delivery of messages received from the United States by and for the Pacific Overseas Airlines.
3. No command channel letter is being sent to the Eighth Army concerning this matter inasmuch as no surveillance will be required beyond that being currently carried out.
