Addition of Subsidiaries of Tokyo Shibaura Electric Company, Ltd, (Tokyo Shibaura Denki K.K.), to Schedule of Restricted Concerns.

1. References are the following Memoranda for the Imperial Japanese Government, from General Headquarters, Supreme Commander for the Allied Powers:

2. The subsidiaries of Tokyo Shibaura Electric Company, Ltd., listed below, are hereby added to the Schedule of Restricted Concerns referred to in paragraph 1, above:
Dengyosha Prime Mover Manufacturing Works (Dengyosha Gendoki Seizosho)
Yokogawa Electric Company, Ltd. (Yokogawa Denki K. K.)
3. The Imperial Japanese Government will take immediate action to assure that the concerns named in paragraph 2, above, shall comply with the provisions of and make reports required by reference Memoranda listed in paragraph 1, above.

1. Pursuant to the policy set forth in Joint Chiefs of Staff Directive 1380/15, 3 November 1945, investigations are being made of concerns which are not listed on inclosure to SCAP Memorandum, AG 004 (8 Dec 45) ESS/AC, (SCAPIN-403), subject: "Establishment of a Schedule of Restricted Concerns," or subsequent additions thereto.
2. The following affiliates of Tokyo Shibaura Electric Company, Ltd., are considered subsidiaries, as defined by SCAP Memorandum, AG 319.1 (22 Oct 45) ESS/IE, (SCAPIN-177), subject: "Reports to be Made by Certain Business Firms," and should, therefore, be placed on the Schedule of Restricted Concerns:

3. The Teikoku Communications Apparatus Industry Company, Ltd., however, is already on the Schedule of Restricted Concerns as a subsidiary of Japan Radio Company, Ltd.
4. This is an administrative matter, and no surveillance by the Eighth Army is required.
5. The interests of USAFIK are not concerned.
