1. Memorandum, General Headquarters, Supreme Commander for the Allied Powers, file AG 311.23 (11 Jan 46) CCS, dated 11 January 1946, subject: "Establishment of Sender Composition and Press Service Between Great Britain and the Tokyo Area", amended 9 March 1946, file AG 311.23 (9 Mar 46) CCS, subject: "Osaka-London Wireless Circuit", is further amended and supplemented as follows:
a. All radio telegraph messages from Great Britain addressed:
BCOF BRITBASE
BRINDIV BRICOSAT
34 Aust Inf Bde BCAIR
9 NZ Inf Bde NOIO KURE
2 NZEF (Japan)
shall be delivered to Headquarters British Commonwealth Occupation Force, ETA-JIMA, Honshu.
b. Messages addressed "Naval Party 2504" and "BRINDJA▲" will continue to be delivered to the British Commonwealth Occupation Force Headquarters at Kure.
c. All messages not addressed as in a and b above will continue to be delivered to the British Embassy at Tokyo for distribution.
2. The above instructions are effective upon receipt.

MEMORANDUM.
SUBJECT: Information of general application pertaining to Directive Number (SCAPIN - 1072), File AG 311.23 (20 Jul 46) CCS Subject: "Osaka-London Wireless Circuit".
1. With reference to subject memorandum, the following is published for the information of all concerned.
2. The memorandum referred to provides:
a. That radiotelegraph messages from Great Britain addressed BCOF, BRINDIV, 34 Aust Inf Bde, 9 NZ Inf Bde, 2 NZEF (Japan), BRITBASE, BRICOSAT, BCAIR, and NOIC KURE be delivered to Headquarters British Commonwealth Occupation Force, Etajima, Honshu.
b. That messages addressed "Naval Party 2504" and "BRINDJAP" will continue to be delivered to British Commonwealth Occupation Force Headquarters at Kure.
c. That messages not addressed as in a and b shall be delivered to the British Embassy at Tokyo.
3. Commanding General, Eighth Army will exercise general surveillance in order to see that the instructions to the Japanese Government are complied with.
4. Instructions with regard to surveillance will follow through command channels.
