Imperial Household Ordinance No. 27
皇族身位令中左ノ通改正ス
The following amendments shall be made to the Imperial Family Member Status Ordinance:
第二十五條及第三十條第一項中「王」ヲ「内親王王女王」ニ改ム
In Article 25, and Article 30, paragraph 1, "O" shall read "Naishinno, O, or Jo-o."
In Article 26, "A person who has been placed in the peerage shall found a family" shall read: "A person who has assumed the status of a subject shall found a family; or he shall join the family of a direct descendant or brother of his, who has assumed the status of a subject under the provision of the same Article."

Article 27, deleted.
第三十四條中「實家ニ復籍スル」ヲ「臣籍ニ入ル」ニ改メ同條ニ左ノ一項ヲ加フ
In Article 34, "shall rejoin her parental family" is amended to read "shall assume the status of a subject." &- And to the same Article,a paragraph shall be added as follows:
第二十六條ノ規定ハ前項ノ規定ニ依リ臣籍ニ入リタル者ニ之ヲ準用ス但シ實家ニ復籍スルコトヲ妨ケス
The provision of Article 26 .shall apply mutatis mutandis to a person who has assumed the status of a subject under the provision of the preceding paragraph. This, however, shall not bar the said person from rejoining her parental family.
附 則
Supplementary Provision:
本令ハ公布ノ日ヨリ之ヲ施行ス
The present Ordinance shall come into effect as from the day of its promulgation.
