審議経過

朕は、昭和二十年勅令第五百四十二號ポツダム宣言の受諾に伴ひ發する命令に關する件に基く傷兵院法を廢止する勅令を裁可し、ここにこれを公布せしめる。
We hereby give Our Sanction in the Ordinance for the Abrogation of the Veteran Institution Act, under the Imperial Ordinance No. 542 issued in 1945 concerning the Orders to be issued in consequence of our acceptance of the Potsdam Declaration, and cause the said ordinance to be promulgated.

傷兵院法は、これを廢止する。
The Veteran Institution Act shall be abrogated.
附　則
Supplementary Provisions:
この勅令は、公布の日から、これを施行する。
The present Ordinance shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation.
この勅令施行の際現に存する基金は、これを一般會計に歸屬せしめる。
In case of the enforcement of the ordinance, the present fund shall revert to the general accounts.
