We give Our sanction, upon the deliberation of the Privy Council, to the amendment of the Regulation concerning the Elections of Members of the House of Peers from among Counts, Viscounts and Barons, and hereby cause the same to be promulgated.

貴族院伯子男爵議員選擧規則中左ノ通改正ス
The following amendments are made to the Regulation concerning the Elections of Members of the House of Peers from among Counts, Viscounts and Barons.
In par.1,Art. 6, " the Director of the Bureau of peerage" shall read "the President of the Board of peerage," "fifty (50) days" shall read " thirty (30) days," " thirty (30) days " shall read " fifteen (15) days," and the following paragraph shall be added after the said paragraph.
"In case any person who is qualified for the election finds that there are either omissions or erroneous entries in the voters' list, he can submit a document showing the reason and evidence and claim the correction to the President of the Board of Peerage, not later than twenty (20) days before the day of election ".
第十六條第一項ノ次ニ左ノ一項ヲ加フ
The following paragraph shall be added after par.1,Art.16.
"In case any further vacancy has come to occur by ten (10) days before the date so designated in accordance with the provisions of the preceding paragraph, the Speaker shall report to the Throne, and the supplementary election for such vacancy shall be ordered by the Throne to be held together with the supplementary elections mentioned in the preceding paragraph ".

本令ハ公布ノ日ヨリ之ヲ施行ス
The present ordinance shall come into force on the day of its promulgation.
