MEMORANDUM FOR

IMPERIAL JAPANESE GOVERNMENT.

THROUGH

Central Liaison Office, Tokyo.

SUBJECT

Apprehension of THAKIN TON OKE and ANKING THAKIN BA SEIN.

1. The Imperial Japanese Government will apprehend and deliver to the authorities at Sugamo Prison (Tokyo Detention Center) THAKIN TUN OKE, Burmese Ambassador Designate to Japan, and ANKING THAKIN BA SEIM, Ambassador Designate to Manshukuo.
2. Delivery to Sugamo Prison will be effected on or before 2400(Midnight)20 February 1946.
3. If, for any reason, delivery cannot be effected by the appointed time, a detailed report will be made immediately by the Japanese Government, explaining the present whereabouts of the individuals and the reason for the non arrest.
