MEMORANDUM FOR

IMPERIAL JAPANESE GOVERNMENT.

THROUGH

Central Liaison Office, Tokyo.

SUBJECT

Manufacture of Acoustic Bombs and Drag Nets at Maizuru Arsenal.

1. The Ordnance Department, Maizuru Navy Yard, is hereby authorized to manufacture thirty thousand (30,000) acoustic bombs and one hundred (100) sets of drag nets.
2. The thirty thousand acoustic bombs authorized are in addition to the ten thousand (10,000) authorized in Memorandum, this Headquarters, dated 20 October 1945, subject: "Manufacture of Acoustic Bombs at Maizuru Arsenal".
3. Production of the acoustic bombs and drag nets authorized will be under the direct supervision of the Commander General, Sixth United States Army.
4. Allocation and use of the Acoustic bombs and drag nets authorized will be under the direction of the Commander, United States Fifth Fleet.
