MEMORANDUM FOR	THE IMPERIAL JAPANESE GOVERNMENT.
THROUGH	Central Liaison Office, Tokyo.
SUBJECT	Inventory Instructions for Synthetic Rubber Plants.

1. References are the following memoranda for the Imperial Japanese Government from General Headquarters, Supreme Commander for the allied Powers:
a. File AG 387.6 (17 Oct 46) ESS/IN, (SCAPIN 1277), dated 17 October 1946, subject: Reparations Selections Within the Synthetic Rubber Industry.
b. File AG 387.6 (21 Dec 46) ESS/IN, (SCAPIN 1416), dated 21 December 1946, subject: Revised Listing of Reparations Selections.
2. The Imperial Japanese Government is notified that certain items of equipment located in specified plants (Inclosure 1) will be recorded on an inventory form prepared by General Headquarters, Supreme Commander for the Allied Powers.
3. There will be made available to the Commanding General, Eighth Army, all personnel, equipment and supplies deemed necessary by him to accomplish the purpose of this memorandum.
4. The Imperial Japanese Government will have qualified representatives report to the Commanding General, Eighth Army, to receive detailed instructions to accomplish the purpose of this memorandum.
