MEMORANDUM FOR

IMPERIAL JAPANESE GOVERNMENT.

THROUGH

Central Liaison Office, Tokyo.

SUBJECT

Manufacture of Acoustic Bombs at Maizuru Arsenal.

1. The request received from the Japanese through the Commander, Fifth United States Fleet for authorization to manufacture ten thousand(10,000)acoustic bombs to be used to clear Kobe minefields is approved.
2. Production of the acoustic bombs will be under the direct supervision of the Commander General, Sixth United States Army.
3. Allocation and use of the acoustic bombs will be under the direction of the Commander, Fifth United States Fleet.
