Subject | Freezing, Impounding, Blocking and Report of all German Property Stored in Japanese Public or Private Warehouses. |
1. The Imperial Japanese Government is directed to freeze, impound, and block all German property in the name of any natural or juridical person in any public or private warehouse in Japan. None of said property shall be withdrawn, moved or disposed of in any way, except by written approval of General Headquarters, Supreme Commander for the Allied Powers.
2. It is further directed that a consolidated report from all public and private warehouses be submitted, showing in detail all property of German ownership which is stored therein, giving the name of owner, last known address, and nature of property. This report is to be submitted to General Headquarters, Supreme Commander for the Allied Powers, Civil Property Custodian, within thirty days from date of this memorandum.
