MEMORANDUM FOR	JAPANESE GOVERNMENT.
SUBJECT	Japan-Batavia Radiotelegraph Circuit.

1. Reference is made to Memorandum for the Japanese Government, file AG 676.3 (9 Sep 47)CCS, SCAPIN 1591/1, dated 9 September 1947, subject same as above.
2. Effective upon receipt of this memorandum the radiotelegraph circuit between Tokyo and Batavia may be operated daily including Sunday between the hours of 2300 GMT and 1300 GMT. Concurrently SCAPIN 1591/1 is rescinded.
3. Direct communication between the Civil Communications Section, General Headquarters, Supreme Commander for the Allied Powers and the Ministry of Communications regarding operating procedures within the scope of this memorandum, is authorized.
