MEMORANDUM FOR	IMPERIAL JAPANESE GOVERNMENT.
THROUGH	Central Liaison Office, Tokyo.
SUBJECT	Request for Approval of Closing-plan of Otake Reception Center-Branch, Kure Area.

1． Reference is made to:
a. Memorandum from the Supreme Commander for the allied Powers, file AG 014.33 (11 Dec 46)GC, (SCAPIN 1398), dated 11 December 1946, subject: Closing or Reduction of Repatriation Reception Centers.
b. Memorandum from the Central Liaison Office, Number 413 (RJ), dated 27 January 1947, subject as above.
2. The plan for closing the Otake Reception Center, as outlined in reference paragraph 1b above, is approved.
3. The Imperial Japanese Government will:
a. Complete the closing of the Otake Reception Center by 20 February 1947.
b. Report to the Supreme Commander for the Allied Powers by 1 March 1947 on the accomplishment of this directive.
4. Provision of Paragraph 3d, reference paragraph 1a above, is amended accordingly.
