SUBJECT | Foreign Personnel Resident in the Fujiya Hotel. |
1. With reference to your memorandum CLO M-No. 74 of 25 September 1945, your attention is invited to our radio messages Nos. CAX 53278, 14 October, and ZAX 7065, 16 October, which gave certain instructions regarding the subject personnel.
2. As directed by the radio messages described in paragraph 1, above, the Axis and Puppet diplomatic staffs, expert the Thailand diplomatic staff, will be removed from the Fujiya Hotel at Miyanashita to the Gohra Hotel at Gora.
3. These personnel will be supplied with food and daily necessaries by the Foreign Office on the standard ration system. They will be free in their personal movements, except for such restrictions as may be imposed by responsible U. S. officers.
4. You will continue to treat these personnel in accordance with international usage of diplomatic personnel, pending determination of their official status by this headquarters.
5. The foreign Office will send its staff to the Gohra Hotel to take charge of provisions and other matters for the subject personnel, pending official determination of their status and disposition.
