MEMORANDUM FOR	IMPERIAL JAPANESE GOVERNMENT.
THROUGH	Central Liaison Office, Tokyo
SUBJECT	Abolition of Licensed Prostitution in Japan.

1. Reference is made to memorandum for the Imperial Japanese Government
from General Headquarters, Supreme Commander for the Allied Powers,
AG 726.7 (21 Jan 46) PH, (SCAPIN-642), 21 January 1946, subject: "Abolition
of Licensed Prostitution in Japan."
2. The Imperial Japanese Government has not complied with the provisions
of paragraph 3 of Memorandum referred to above.
3. Compliance in accordance with the terms of paragraph 3 of referenced
memorandum is hereby directed.
