2. The Teikoku Compressed Gas Company, Ltd., a subsidiary of Sumitomo Honsha, is hereby added to the Schedule of Restricted Concerns referred to in subparagraph 1c above.
3. The Imperial Japanese Government will take immediate action to assure that the Teikoku Compressed Gas Comyany, Ltd., shall comply with the provisions of and make reports required by reference Memoranda listed in paragraph 1, above. Wherever reference is made in inclosure 1 and inclosure 2 to reference 2 to reference Memorandum 1a, above, to the year 1944, it shall be amended to read 1946.
4. Direct communication between the interested Staff Sections of General Headquarters, Supreme Commander for the. Allied Powers, and agencies of the Imperial Japanesse Government concerned is authorized to implement all provisions of this Memorandum.

1. Pursuant to the policy set forth in Joint Chiefs of Staff Directive 1380/15, 3 November 1945, investigations are being made of concerns which are not listed on the inclosure to SCAP Memorandum AG 004 (8 Dec 45) ESS/AC (SCAPIN-403), subject: "Establishment of a Schedule of Restricted Concerns," or subsequent additions thereto.
2. Teikoku Compressed Gas Company, Ltd. (Teikoku Asshukugasu K. K.), an affiliate of Sumitomo Honsha, is considered a subsidiary as defined by SCAP Memorandum AG 319.1 (22 Oct 45) ESS/IE (SCAPIN-177), subject: "Reports to be Made by Certain Business Firms," and should therefore, be placed on the Schedule of Restricted Concerns referred to in paragraph 1, above. Sumitomo Honsha holds 22.6% of the total paid-in capital stock of Teikoku Compressed Gas Company, Ltd.
3. The interests of USAFIK are not concerned.
4. This is considered an administrative matter and no surveillance by the Eighth Army is required.
