| SUBJECT | Reception Centers in Japan for Processing Korean Repatriates. |
1.Reference is made to the following Memorandums from the Supreme Commander for the Allied Powers:
a.File AG 370.05 (16 Mar 46)GC, SCAPIN-822), subject: "Repatriation", dated 16 March 1946 as amended.
b.File AG 370.05 (9 Apr 46)GC, (SCAPIN-872), subject: "Repatriation of Chinese, Formosans and Koreans" as amended.
2.Reference 1b above contemplates that all Koreans repatriated from Japan will be processed through the Hakata and Senzaki Reception Centers.
3.The Imperial Japanese Government will, by 30 April 1946, process and repatriate Korea all Koreans at the Maizuru Reception Center.

2. Request routine supervision by the Eighth Army of the instructions to the Imperial Japanese Government contained in reference memorandum.
