MEMORANDUM FOR	IMPERIAL JAPANESE GOVERNMENT.
THROUGH	Central Liaison Office, Tokyo.
SUBJECT	Apprehension of Lt. Gen. Harada, Kumakichi.

1. The Imperial Japanese Government will apprehend and deliver to the authorities at Sugamo Prison Lt. Gen. HARADA, Kumakichi, former Commander in Chief of the 16th Army in Java who was transferred to the Command of the 55th Army in the Shikoku Military District on 15 June 1945.
2. Delivery to Sugamo Prison will be made on or before 1600, 18 March 1946
.
3. In the event delivery on the appointed day is impossible, the government will submit to this headquarters a report concerning the individual's present whereabouts and the reason for non-arrest.
