MEMORANDUM FOR	IMPERIAL JAPANESE GOVERNMENT.
THROUGH	Central Liaison Office, Tokyo.
SUBJECT	Reception of Repatriates at Tanabe.

1. Reference is made to memorandum this headquarters to the Imperial Japanese Government, file AG 370.05 (23 Jan 46) GC, dated 23 January 1946, subject: "Reception Center in Japan for Processing Repatriates."
2. The Imperial Japanese Government will:
a. Accept and process 3,500 Japanese repatriates from Formosa to disembark the SS Bloodworth at Tanabe, 15 February.
b. Thereafter operate Tanabe as a regularly authorized reception center in accordance with the directive referred to in paragraph 1 above.
