MEMORANDUM FOR	IMPERIAL JAPANESE GOVERNMENT.
THROUGH	Central Liaison Office, Tokyo.
SUBJECT	Failure to Comply with Directives from Supreme Commander for the Allied Powers.

1． Reference is made to Memorandum from this headquarters, file AG 370.05 (19 Nov 45) GC, dated 19 November 1945, subject: "Organization and operation of Reception Centers for Processing Repatriates."
2． The Japanese Government representative now assigned to Eighth Army Headquarters is from the Foreign Office.
3． The Imperial Japanese Government will, in compliance with the provisions of paragraph 2c above reference, assign a representative of the Ministry of Welfare to Headquarters, Eighth United States Army without delay.
