SUBJECT | Repatriation Chinese from Marianas via Japan. |
1. This headquarters has directed that approximately 142 Chinese now in Marianas and desiring repatriation be shipped to Japan.
2. Commanding General, Eighth United States Army, will inform the local Japanese official the name of vessel on which subject personnel is transported, number aboard, and estimated time of arrival at Kure.
3. The Imperial Japanese Government will:
a. Move these Chinese repatriates from Kure to Sasebo.
b. At Sasebo lead the Chinese aboard repatriation vessels sailing to appropriate China ports.
