MEMORANDUM FOR	IMPERIAL JAPANESE GOVERNMENT.
THROUGH	Central Liaison Office, Tokyo.
SUBJECT	Reception Centers in Japan for Processing Repatriates.

1. Reference is made to C. L. O. No.1331 (5.2), dated 26 December, subject as above.
2. Careful consideration has been given to establishing a reception center at Tanabe, Wakayama Prefecture, At present, however, established reception centers in Japan are adequate to handle repatriation traffic. Tanabe may be utilized as a center at some time in the future.
3. In view of above, the request in reference C. L. O. is disapproved at this time.
