MEMORANDUM FOR

THE IMPERIAL JAPANESE GOVERNMENT.

THROUGH

Central Liaison Office, Tokyo.

SUBJECT

Violation of Directive Prohibiting Manufacture of Narcotics.

1. Reference is made to paragraph two of the letter to this headquarters from the Central Liaison Office, C.L.O. No. 839(1.1), dated 3 December 1945, subject: "Violation of Directive Prohibiting Manufacturing of Narcotics", in which you state" the Hoshi Medicine Manufacturing Company violated the injunction order issued by the Ministry of Health and Social Affairs to all medicine manufacturing companies concerned in compliance with your memorandum AG 441.1 (12 Oct 45)".
2. You will immediately submit to this headquarters a certified copy of injunction order in English issued by the Ministry of Health and Social Affairs to all medicine manufacturing companies concerned. This injunction order will be accompanied by the following certified information:
a. The date the injunction order was issued.
b. The official who delivered the injunction order to the Hoshi Medicine Manufacturing Company.
c. The date the injunction order was received by the Hoshi Medicine Manufacturing Company.
d. The official of the Hoshi Medicine Manufacturing Company who received the injunction order.
3. You will immediately inform this headquarters of action taken against those persons responsible for the violation of the memorandum from this headquarters.
