MEMORANDUM FOR	IMPERIAL JAPANESE GOVERNMENT.
THROUGH	Central Liaison Office, Tokyo.
SUBJECT	Control of Non-Japanese Being Repatriated From Japan.

1.Reference is made to the following:
a.Letter, Imperial Japanese Government, C.L.O. No.747(5.1), dated 28 November 1945, subject: "Property Carried by the Repatriating Koreans."
b.Memorandum this headquarters for Imperial Japanese Government, file AG370.05(17 Nov 45)GC, dated 17 November 1945, subject: "Reception Centers in Japan for Proccesing Repatriates."
2.The local Japanese officials will utilize every legal means available to control repatriates.
3.Should their efforts fail, local Japanese officials are authorized to request the local US Military authorities to maintain control.
