MEMORANDUM FOR	IMPERIAL JAPANESE GOVERNMENT.
THROUGH	Central Liaison Office, Tokyo.
SUBJECT	Safekeeping of Valuable Properties of Organizations Closed Pursuant to Memorandum of this Headquarters to the Imperial Japanese Government AG 091. 3 (30 Sept 45).

1. It is directed that the Imperial Japanese Government instruct the Bank of Japan to transfer all cash, negotiable securities, other negotiable financial paper and other readily transportable property of high value, now in Japan, and belonging to subject organizations, to the vaults of the Bank of Japan for safekeeping.
2. For each branch of the closed organizations an accurate inventory will be prepared at time of removal of the property, and the property of each such branch will be carefully segregated from property of other organizations, and earmarked. The preparation of inventories, transfer and placing in storage will be conducted in the presence of representatives of this Headquarters. Three copies, in English, of such inventories with a report of the action taken and location of vaults of storage will be furnished to this Headquarters and two copies to the Ministry of Finance.
