MEMORANDUM FOR

IMPERIAL JAPANESE GOVERNMENT.

THROUGH

Central Liaison Office, Tokyo.

SUBJECT

Koreans Being Sent to Japan from Philippine Islands.

1. Information has been received that that 476 Koreans, being transported from the Philippine Islands, will arrive at Uraga aboard the Liberty ship Ralph W. Emerson on 25 November 1945.
2. It is desired that necessary arrangements be made to care for this personnel until such time as the Japanese Government can repatriate them to Korea.
3. In the future no further Large shipments of Koreans from the Philippine Island to Japan are contemplated.
