MEMORANDUM FOR

IMPERIAL JAPANESE GOVERNMENT.

THROUGH

Central Liaison Office, Tokyo.

SUBJECT

Sailing of Repatriation Shipping to China.

1. Reference is made to your request in C.L.O. No 681 (5.3) dated 22 November 1945, subject: "Request for Permission to Repatriates Chinese Laborers on board S. S. Tatsuhi Maru".
2. Authority is granted to load the Taysuhi Maru in Accordance with your memorandum referred to in paragraph 1 above.
3. Information from SCAJAP indicates that the Enoshima Maru will sail from Hakata on 29 November 1945 for Tangku. It is desired that this ship be loaded to capacity with Chinese originally domiciled in north China.
4. The Commanding General, Sixth US Army, is being instructed to place guards aboard the ships listed in this Memorandum.
