SUBJECT

Repatriation of Chinese Laborers on board the S. S. Meiyu-maru.

1. Reference is made to your request in C.L.O.No. 680 (5.3), dated 20 November 1945, subject: "Request for Permission to Repatriate Chinese Laborers on board the S.S. Meiyu-Maru."
2. Permission id granted to place aboard the Japanese ship Meiyu-Maru for repatriation the 1, 352 Chinese laborers subject of the cited reference.
3. According to the latest available information the Maiyu-Maru is scheduled to sail from Hakata for Shanghai on 27 November 1945.
