SUBJECT

Organization and Operation of Reception Centers for Processing Repatriates.

1. Receipt is acknowledged of letter, C. L. O. No. 406 dated 27 October, subject: "Exemption of the Promises of the Osaka Red Cross Hospital from being taken over by the Allied Forces".
2. Reference is made to Memorandum for the Imperial Japanese Government, AG632 (21 Oct 45) GD, dated 21 October, subject: "Use of Japanese Hospitals by Allied Forces" which is also applicable to all hospital facilities including Japanese Red Cross Hospital.
Accordingly the Osaka Red Cross Hospital cannot be considered exempt from requirements of the Allied Forces.
