MEMORANDUM FOR	IMPERIAL JAPANESE GOVERNMENT.
THROUGH	Central Liaison Office, Tokyo.
SUBJECT	Formosans Shipped to Japan from the Philippine Islands.

1. A total of seven hundred seventy (770) Formosans have been shipped from the Philippine Islands to Japan on he following vessels which were scheduled to depart from Manila and to arrive at Kagoshima on the dates shown below:

2. It is desired that necessary arrangements be made to care for this personnel until such time as they can be returned to Formosa. At present no Formosans can be returned to their homelands.
3. No additional Formosans will be shipped from the Philippine Islands to Japan.
