MEMORANDUM FOR	IMPERIAL JAPANESE GOVERNMENT.
THROUGH	Central Liaison Office, Tokyo.
SUBJECT	Repatriation of Chinese.

1. Reference is made to the following:
a. Letter your office, C.L.O. 369, 23 October 1945, requesting permission to repatriate Chinese Laborers on the Enoshima Maru and further, if request is approved, that US guards be placed aboard to maintain discipline.
b. Letter SCAJAP Serial P-524, 26 October 1945, subject, "Japanese Merchant Ship Enoshima Maru, Sailing of"" authorizes 1500 repatriated on return, only Chinese from North China to be loaded.
2. Sixth Army has been directed to place guards aboard in other to maintain discipline.
