MEMORANDUM FOR	THE JAPANESE GOVERNMENT.
SUBJECT	Transmittal of Allocation Notices.

1. Reference is memorandum for the Japanese Government from General Headquarters, Supreme Commander for the Allied Powers, AG 387.6(22 Jul 47) REP, (SCAPIN 1751), 22 July 1947, subject: Responsibilities of the Japanese Government for the Packaging, Transfer, and Delivery of Equipment and Records Allocated to Claimant Nations Under the Reparations Program.
2. Inclosed are the following allocation notices for equipment accepted by the nation indicated:

3. Upon receipt of these notices, the Japanese Government will accomplish and be responsible for the dismantling, packaging, transporting to a port to be designated by the Supreme Commander for the Allied Powers, and loading, stowing, and bracing on board ships to be provided by the Claimant Nation according to schedules to be announced later, of each and every item of equipment appearing on the subject notices, together with such motors and other accessories as pertain thereto, in accordance with detailed instructions included in SCAPIN 1751, referred to above, and any of its amendments.
4. Supplemental allocation notices covering additional allocations will be issued later under separate allocation notice numbers.
