MEMORANDUM FOR	JAPANESE GOVERNMENT.
THROUGH	Central Liaison Office, Tokyo.
SUBJECT	Apprehension of Suspected War Criminal.

Memorandum to the Japanese Government dated 7 Sep 46, file AG 000.5 (7 Sep 46) LS-R, (SCAPIN 1188), wherein the Japanese Government was directed to deliver one SAIMOTO, Satsuji, Sergeant, to the Commanding General, EIGHTH Army at Sugamo Prison (Tokyo Detention Camp), at the earliest possible date, is amended to delete said SAIMOTO's name for the reason that SAIMOTO's death has been confirmed. This name appears as the seventh name on Page No. 6 of the above-mentioned Memorandum.
