SUBJECT | Apprehension of Suspected War Criminals. |
1. Memorandum to the Imperial Japanese Government dated 8 Nov 46, file AG 000.5 (8 Nov 46) LS-R (SCAPIN - 1327), wherein the Imperial Japanese Government was directed to deliver one ISHII, Kuboki, Major, to the Commanding General, EIGHTH Army at Sugamo Prison (Tokyo Detention Camp), at the earliest possible date, is amended to delete said ISHII's name for the reason he is no longer required. This name appears as the sixth name on Pave No. 2 of the above mentioned Memorandum.
2. Memorandum to the Imperial Japanese Government dated 12 Dec 46, file AG 000.5 (12 Dec 46) LS-R, (SCAPIN - 1399), wherein the Imperial Japanese Government was directed to deliver one ITOH, (FNU), Civilian, to the Commanding General, EIGHTH Army at Sugamo Prison (Tokyo Detention Camp), at the earliest possible date, is amended to delete said ITOH's name for the reason he is no longer required. This name appears as the ninth name on Page No. 2 of the above mentioned Memorandum.
3. Memorandum to the Imperial Japanese Government dated 25 Feb 47, file AG 000.5 (25 Feb 47) LS-R, (SCAPIN - 1546), wherein the Imperial Japanese Government was directed to deliver one KINOSHITA, (FNU), Lieutenant, to the Commanding General, EIGHTH Army at Sugamo Prison (Tokyo Detention Camp), at the earliest possible date, is amended to delete said KINOSHITA's name for the reason he is no longer required. This name appears as the third name on Page No. 2 of the above mentioned Memorandum.
4. Memorandum to the Imperial Japanese Government dated 8 Nov 46, file AG 000.5 (8 Nov 46) LS-R (SCAPIN 1326), wherein the Imperial Japanese Government was directed to deliver one MINAMI, Yoshio, Major, to the Commanding General, EIGHTH Army at Sugamo Prison (Tokyo Detention Camp), at the earliest possible date, is amended to delete said MINAMI's name for the reason he is no longer required. This name appears as the sixth name on Page No. 3 of the above mentioned Memorandum.
5. Memorandum to the Imperial Japanese Government dated 25 Feb 47, file AG 000.5 (25 Feb 47) LS-R, (SCAPIN 1546), wherein the Imperial Japanese Government was directed to deliver one OKAMURA, Yasuji, Lieutenant General, to the Commanding General, EIGHTH Army at Sugamo Prison (Tokyo Detention Camp), at the earliest possible date, is amended to delete said OKAMURA's name for the reason he is now held in Nanking, China. This name appears as the sixth name on Page No. 3 of the above mentioned Memorandum.
6. Memorandum to the Imperial Japanese Government dated 8 Nov 46, file AG 000.5 (8 Nov 46) LS-R, (SCAPIN 1326), wherein the Imperial Japanese Government was directed to deliver one ONAMA, Nobuakl, Civilian, to the Commanding General, EIGHTH Army at Sugamo Prison (Tokyo Detention Camp), at the earliest possible date, is amended to delete said ONAMA's name for the reason he is no longer required. This name appears as the fourth name on Page No.4 of the above mentioned Memorandum.
7. Memorandum to the Imperial Japanese Government, dated 17 Jan 46, file AG 000.5 (17 Jan 46) LS-R, wherein the Imperial Japanese Government was directed to deliver one UEMETSU, Goke, Civilian, to the Commanding General, EIGHTH Army at Sugamo Prison (Tokyo Detention Camp), at the earliest possible date, is amended to delete said UEMETSU's name for the reason he is no longer required. This name appears as the thirteenth name on Page No. 7 of the above mentioned Memorandum.
