SUBJECT | Control of Radio Communications. |
1. Reference is made to Memorandum to the Imperial Japanese Government, file AG 676.3 (29 Aug 46)CCS, (SCAPIN-1166), dated 29 August 1946, subject: Control of Radio Communications, as amended.
2. The Japanese Ministry of Communications has requested permission for temporary operation of one (1) fixed and two (2) mobile radio stations in Osaka-shi, from 23 May 1947 to 30 May 1947.
3. The request is approved with limitations as listed in Inclosure 1.

MEMORANDUM
SUBJECT: Information of General Application Pertaining to Directive Number (SCAPIN -1693), file AG 676.3(20 May 47) CCS, General Headquarters, Supreme Commander for the Allied Powers, dated 20 May 1947, subject: Control of Radio Communications
1. With reference to subject memorandum, the following is published for the information of all concerned.
2. The purpose of this directive is to give the Japanese permission to operate one (1) fixed and two (2) mobile radio stations in Osaka-shi during the Emperor's visit from 23 May 1947 to 30 May 1947.
3. Inspection by Occupation troops to insure that the stations operate only during the period authorized, and within the limitations of Inclosure 1, is necessary.
4. Command instructions to the Commanding General, Eighth Army to insure compliance with the directive are released simultaneously and will follow through command channels.
