MEMORANDUM FOR	IMPERIAL JAPANESE GOVERNMENT.
THROUGH	Central Liaison Office, Tokyo.
SUBJECT	Apprehension of Suspected War Criminal.

Memorandum to the Imperial Japanese Government dated 11 Sep 46, file AG 000.5 (11 Sep 46) LS-R, (SCAPIN 1194), wherein the Imperial Japanese Government was directed to deliver one TOYOSHIMA, Tanabe, Sub Lt, (Navy), to the Commanding General, EIGHTH Army at Sugamo Prison (Tokyo Detention Camp), at the earliest possible date, is amended to delete said TOYOSHIMA's name for the reason that he is the same person as TOYOSHIMA, Taneji who was executed in Singapore, 18 May 1946. This name appears as the first name on Page No. 4 of the above mentioned Memorandum.
