1.Reference is made to:
a.Memorandum from the Supreme Commander for the Allied Powers, file AG 370.05 (7 May 46)GC, (SCAPIN 927), dated 7 May 1946, subject: Repatriation, as amended.
b.Memorandum from the Supeme Commander for the Allied Powers, file AG 014.33 (26 Dec 46)GC, (SCAPIN 1421), dated 26 December 1946, subject: Repatriation of Japanese Nationals. from Soviet and Soviet-Controlled Territories, and of Koreans from Japan to Korea North of 38°North Latitude.
c.Memorandum from the Imperial Japanese Government, C.L.O. No. 3387(RF), dated 6 May 1947, subject: Report on Koreans of North Korea Who Have Not Forfeited Repatriation Privilege.
2.A ship, to be designated at a later date will lift the 207 Koreans mentioned in reference paragraph 1 c above. The ship will depart Sasebo on or about 23 June 1947.
3.Concerning Koreans mentioned in paragraph 2 above, the Imperial Japanese Government will:
a.Notify them that this is their last chance for repatriation until such time as commercial facilities are available.
b.Move them to the Sasebo Reception Center during the period 15 June to 20 June 1947 and process them in accordance with the provisions of reference paragraph 1 a above, as amended by paragraph 2 b (1) through 2 b (5) of reference paragraph 1 b above.
c.Outload them on the ship to be designated. In addition, make necessary arrangements to insure that:
(1)All of each repatriate's baggage, tools, machinery and equipment, as specified in paragraph 2 b (1) of reference paragraph 1 b above, are placed on the same ship on which the individual is being repatriated.
(2)Sasebo Reception Center officials comply with the provisions of paragraph 3 c (5) (b) of reference paragraph 1 b above.
(3)The master of the ship complies with the provisions of paragraphs 3 c (5) (c) and 3 e of reference paragraph 1 b above.
