MEMORANDUM FOR	IMPERIAL JAPANESE GOVERNMENT.
THROUGH	Central Liaison Office, Tokyo.
SUBJECT	Apprehension of Suspected War Criminal.

Memorandum to the Imperial Japanese Government dated 10 Jan 47, file AG 000.5 (10 Jan 47) LS-R, (SCAPIN - 1455), wherein the Imperial Japanese Government was directed to deliver one SAWATA, Eito, Lieutenant (Navy), to the Commanding General, EIGHTH Army at Sugamo Prison (Tokyo Detention Camp), at the earliest possible date, is amended to delete said SAWATA's name for the reason that SAMATA is the same suspect whose name appeared on L.S. Apprehension Memorandum dated 12 December 1946, (SCAPIN - 1399). This name appears as the first name on Page No. 4 of the above mentioned Memorandum.
